My Shadow .... My Air

Why.... Why.... Why????????????????????

We go our separate ways and.....

And as always you are there...

Please leave me be....

Please forget me as a shadow would on a dark night...

No ambient light...

Nothing... Nothing there...

No moon... no shadow... No you...

But no... not you... never you...

You are like the sky... Always there... Like air....

And as good as air can be for me ...

You can be bad..

You carry a disease I cannot take...

You hold within you the secret to kill me...

And as air... You hide it well....

I no longer breath you....

My solace in the dark is I never have to see my shadow...

Yet I have to breath you...

I shall hold my breath till I fade away... Like a shadow does in a dark room.....

I await the dark.... You shall be gone...

On finding someone....

God... We look in the strangest places....

We think its ok... Honest we do...

We find people from all walks of life...

We befriend them...

Often we forget them... Well ok, not intentionally...

Some leave a lasting mark on our mundane existance..

Others a lasting impression...

But you... Wow, you left a scar...

You left a wound that won't heal like that on a hemophiliac..

You had the nerve to stab me twice then stay around to watch me bleed..

Watch me hurt and all you do is say sorry I will try to change... Like a Chameleon

A Chameleon has many camouflages to choose from... Yay for you...

A Chameleon pales compared to you...

I prefer someone who is evolutionary challenged and has one face....

I will keep searching...

I will find that one person...

I WILL BE HAPPY.......
